What Makes Spanish Fort United Methodist Church Different

Spanish Fort 101

Spanish Fort United Methodist Church is
Deeply Committed to Christ, his Church,
and Our Community

Greetings from the people of Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.  From our campus just a stones throw away from the Eastern shore of the Mobile bay,  we are a diverse congregation with a shared mission to be deeply committed to Christ, His Church, and our Community.   We strive to offer the Spanish Fort community a connection with God through worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service. We hope our website will provide a glimpse of our discipleship and service opportunities. But more than that, we would love for you to join us for worship so that we might greet you in the name of Christ and tell you more about our church.

We believe that worship at Spanish Fort UMC is an meaningful experience in a beautiful and welcoming setting.  Two distinct Sunday services offer engaging worship in two different styles.  Traditional Worship, takes place on Sunday mornings at 8:45 a.m. in our sanctuary with choir, organ, and congregational hymns.  Led by our praise band, our Contemporary Worship Service meets at 11:00 a.m. offering energetic worship in a more casual environment. You are invited to experience life-changing worship that is completely Christ-centered through any or all of these worship experiences.

As a United Methodist faith community, we welcome all who seek to follow and serve Jesus Christ. We believe that our relationship with God is centered solely on God’s love and grace. This grace is available to all and is at the center of our theology and our faith community. Here you will find opportunities to worship and praise God, serve your neighbors, explore the Christian faith, grow spiritually, fellowship with fellow believers, and meet new friends.

We hope to meet you soon!

Meet the amazing team that makes up the staff at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church!

The Spanish Fort Pathway

Our Discipleship Pathway is the intentional roadmap for Christian discipleship. Rooted in Wesley’s understanding about the trifold nature of grace, the Discipleship Pathway is a clearly laid out journey taking persons from a place of not belonging to a faith community all the way through learning how to “make the kingdom of God known on earth as it is in heaven.”

As a United Methodist
faith community

We welcome all who seek to follow and serve Jesus Christ. We believe that our relationship with God is centered solely on God’s love and grace.
