Visiting a church for the first time can feel like a lot. Here is everything you might want to know before Sunday, so the only surprise is how glad we are to see you.
Both Sunday services meet in the Sanctuary at our Main Campus, 6690 Spanish Fort Boulevard, Spanish Fort, AL 36527. Parking is free and close, and greeters at the doors will point you anywhere you need to go.
Our West Campus building, just across the parking lot at 6530 Spanish Fort Boulevard, holds our offices, the Children's Area for Sunday evenings, the youth area, the Community Dinner, and the Thrift Store.
Whatever you are comfortable in. On any given Sunday you will see suits, sundresses, jeans, and khakis, sometimes in the same pew. Come as you are.
Both services preach Christ, read the same Scriptures, and are led by the same pastors. The 8:45 Traditional service is a service of hymns and liturgy, with the Chancel Choir leading most Sundays. The 11:00 Contemporary service is led by a worship band, with songs written for full congregational singing. Try whichever fits you, or try both and see where you land.
About an hour. The pace is unhurried, because the worship of God is not something we rush through, but you will be on your way by a few minutes past the hour.
Children are always welcome in worship, wiggles and all. We also offer a staffed nursery for infants through age three during both services, and Children's Church for ages four through second grade, where kids leave at an appointed time for an age-appropriate worship experience. Nursery, Children's Church, and Children's Morning Discipleship classes are located on the lower level of the Fellowship Hall Building in the preschool. We have a secure check-in and check-out system, and every worker is background checked and follows the Safe Sanctuary policy of the United Methodist Church.
Yes. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month, and the table belongs to Jesus, not to us. You do not have to be a member of this church, or a Methodist, to receive.
No. We will not ask you to stand up or wear a name tag. If you would like us to know you were here, fill out the attendance pad in your pew and someone will reach out within the week. If you would rather stay anonymous for a while, that is fine too.
Yes. We have accessible entrances, restrooms, and seating, and hearing assistance devices are available. Ask any usher.

On a Sunday agreed in advance, the pastor reads the membership vows, you answer with your promises, and the church receives you into the family.
