CONFIRMATION | January 9 | 3:00 p.m. | West Campus | Youth Area | It’s that time of year again! We are gearing up for our next Confirmation class and we are excited about your child’s participation in Confirmation. Confirmation is a time when a personal decision is made to confirm the vows of our baptism and profess our faithful membership to the Body of Christ. At Spanish Fort United Methodist Church, this happens with our 6th graders and up. They will explore who Christ is, what it means to know Christ through a lifelong relationship and discuss United Methodist traditions and origin. Confirmation classes will begin with parent and student orientation on January 9, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. and will meet weekly until Confirmation Sunday, April 24, 2022. If you have a child in 6th grade and up, please reach out to Pastor Kitsy Dixon to discuss important events, registration, and mentorship. Please contact her in our church office at 251.626.1334 or kitsy@spanishfortumc.org.

You are also encouraged to set up an appointment to speak with either of our pastors regarding your child’s faith journey and/or any questions you or your child may have about Confirmation. Reverend Bill Price can be reached at 251.626.1334 or bill@spanishfortumc.org. We look forward to celebrating this blessed milestone with you and we hope to hear from you.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS | We would love to have you join us in helping to grow our children and youth ministries. We offer Sunday mornings/evenings, and Wednesday evening opportunities to engage in purposeful ministry with our youth and children. Our children and youth ministries provide biblical lessons that are engaging and centered on building community through Christ’s model of loving your neighbor. We need volunteers to help cover Sunday school, nursery, children’s church, Catapult, Extreme Kids, LOL, and Remedy group fellowships. If God has laid it on your heart to commit to volunteering to the biblical growth of our children and youth, now is the time. If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Kitsy Dixon in the church office, or via email at kitsy@spanishfortumc.org.

We are also in need of clean uniform items in good condition. If you have uniform donations or returns, you can drop them off at the church office during regularly scheduled office hours. If you have any questions, please call the office or email ministries@spanishfortumc.org.
