Connect Through Hospitality - Spanish Fort UMC provides guidance and training to equip all who seek to get connected! Here is how you can get involved.
Welcome and Greet
This role is great for those you enjoy talking with others, who enjoy welcoming people, and helping making them feel at home. Connect all those who walk through our doors by welcoming them, providing information about SFUMC, offering to help them locate classes on either campus, etc. Contact: Church Office
This person schedules greeters and those who seek to welcome people to worship. You also provide information and training to new greeters. Contact: Church Office
Connecting Visitors & Reconnecting People
Do you have a heart for those who are missing or those who are seeking? You can connect to Christ, and to others, by signing up to reach out to people who have been away from SFUMC for a time. We also want to communicate to our visitors and let them know how happy we are that they have been with us. You could be the connection by reaching out to them as well. Contact: Church Office
Drive Church Bus
If you can drive a shuttle bus and love to be around people, this is a great connection point for you! We are always looking for people to help transport children, youth, and adults between the two church campuses. We also pick up and return residents from Westminster Village for services. Shuttle drivers are needed on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings primarily. We also use the bus for camps and special events. Contact: Beth Allen / 626-1334
