Connect Through Caring Ministries - Spanish Fort UMC provides guidance and training to equip all who seek to get connected! Here is how you can get involved.
On the Sundays in which we are blessed with flowers for the altar, we give thanks. We also give those flowers to those SFUMC who are homebound or in the hospital. If you love flowers, love people, and are willing to deliver these to our church family, this is the way for you to get connected! Contact: Church Office
We try and provide a meal to families who are in transition or following a Celebration of Life service. If you like to cook or help serve, this is great way to be connected. Contact: Gladys Davis 626-3745
Prayer is one of the most powerful ways to be connected to God and to one another. If you believe that God hears and responds to needs through prayer, then we invite you to pray individually for prayer requests. Our coordinator send these out via email as needed. To be sure you are on the list please Contact: Catherine Adkins 447-0371
If you love to knit then we invite you to be part of a group of people who create shawls for those hospitalized or homebound. Contact: Myra Kievet 943-2865
Visiting Those In Need
Our hospitalized, homebound, and assisted living community is always uplifted when they are visited by God’s people. If you have a heart for those who are ill and/or homebound and love to spend time with people, this is the place for you to connect! We also take communion to those who are sick and homebound who cannot make it to worship. We are always looking for people to be connected to others in this way.
