In worship, we give our very best to God, knowing that we continually receive the best from him. Whether it is through singing, praying, or the proclamation of the Word, we hope always for the Holy Spirit's presence to enliven and empower us for service in God's world in the name of Jesus Christ. Our Stewardship emphasis is focusing on our commitment to Christ and renewing our vows of supporting SFUMC by our:
gifts-10 per cent of our income,
service/study-20 hours/month,
prayers-30 people (10 each inside our church, in our family, in the community),
presence-40 Sundays in worship;
for a total of 100, our witness with our commitments in 2012... "the 100 plan."
