We have activities for elementaryl-age children on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (Wednesdays are only during the school year).
Sunday Morning Schedule 8:00 and 10:30 Traditional Services - Children who
are 3 by September 1st of each school year through 2nd grade attend
worship with their parents and after a brief "Chilldren's Time" during
worship, children will be escorted to the Room MC106 in the lower level
of the Fellowship Hall (adjacent to the Sanctuary). During the
remainder of the worship service time, they will hear a Bible story and
do a related craft or activity. Children are to be picked up by their
parents in MC106 following the worship service.
9:15 Discipleship Hour (Sunday School) - Sunday
School classes for preschool and elementary-age children (through 4th grade) are available in the Extreme Kids area of the Prodisee campus each Sunday morning.
Classes are set by the child's grade for each year. All ages are checked in outside room PD 110 and enjoy time of large group activities. During this time they have an introduction to the Bible lesson with skits and fun activities, and then go with their leaders to small group time. The groups are divided by school grade. During this time, children are involved in learning through Bible story activities,
crafts, and games. Children can be picked up by a parent in their classrooms at 10:15. Classrooms are in the back hall of the Prodisee Center and marked by grade.
Shuttle service to the main campus is also available for children who will be attending 10:30 Traditional worship with their families. Parents should be at the shuttle stop in front of the Sanctuary by 10:15 to pick up their child.
10:30 Contemporary Service - Children who are 3 by September 1st of each school year through 2nd
grade attend worship with their parents and after a brief "Children's
Time" during worship, children will be escorted to the Room PD110 which is just outside the worship area.
During the remainder of the worship service time, they will hear a
Bible story and do a related craft or activity. Children are to be
picked up by their parents in PD104 following the worship service.
Wednesday Evening Schedule 6:00
- 7:30 - Club Extreme - Children who are age 3 by September 1st of each
school year through 4th grade participate in Club Extreme, which
involves worship, study, and service activities. Elementary-age
children should check in in the lobby of Extreme Kids/Contemporary
Worship area at the Prodisee Campus. They will participate in large
group activities including worship with music and Bible skits. From 6:30-7:30 elementary-age children travel with leaders in small groups to rotation stations for crafts, games, and a Surprise Station, where the Bible lesson is reinforced. Through these rotation stations, they also
serve through quarterly projects! Parents must park an come in to pick up their children in the Extreme Kids area at 7:30.
